Every holiday season a tragic accident involving motor vehicles mars the joyful and reflective time shared by families and friends. Many of these tragic accidents could have been avoided. Driving impaired by alcohol or drugs. drowsiness, excessive speed, or cell phone use all contribute to accidents.
Alcohol and drug-related motor vehicle accident are more prevalent between Thanksgiving and New Years Day.

Slow down and be aware of poor winter road conditions. Always wear your seat belt.
Intervene if necessary to prevent a friend or family member from driving under the influence.
